A HUGE congratulations to Team Henselite representative Scott Thulborn for winning the South Australia Men's Singles Title yesterday (30-01-2012) held at Payneham Bowling Club in Adelaide. It has been a great season for Scotty who took out the Open State Pairs with fellow Henselite team member Adam Forbes just a few weeks ago and the SA Open Singles title only 2 months ago. But yesterday Scotty had to play his best mate Adam Forbes in the semi of the singles meaning we would lose one of the Team Henselite members in what was a very close and great game to watch with Scotty coming away with a 4 shot win 25-21.

In the final Scotty jumped out of the blocks with his Henselite XG's galloping away to a 15 nill lead, and it was always going to be an uphill battle for Mark Haines giving such a big start to Scotty who is a bowler in electrifying form. He took out the final comfortably 25 shots to 11 stamping his authority with yet again another State Title win. This has now put Scotty in a very good position to take out the prestigious award "South Australian Bowler of the Year", which would really cap off what has been an outstanding year for Scotty.

So congratulations Scott Thulburn and lets hope the Aussie Selectors take note as you are proving you deserve your opportunity to wear the Green and Gold!!
