Aaron Wilson's Gold medal performance in the Men's Singles, capped off an amazing Commonwealth Games for Team Henselite bowlers.

It was a week that saw 12 of the 25 medals awarded to Henselite bowlers.

Derek Oliver from Scotland kicked off proceedings when he and his triples combination picked up the Men's Triples Gold medal.

New Zealand’s Jo Edwards followed suit and won her second consecutive singles Commonwealth Games Gold medal, taking her overall tally to 3 Gold having also won the Pairs in 2002.

Next up, Australia’s Carla Krizanic and Rebecca Van Asch were part of the victorious Women’s Fours team with what was their first of two Gold medals each. They also went on to take out the Triples event as well.

On the final day of competition, Siti Zalina Ahmad and Emma Firyana Saroji won Gold first up in the Women’s Pairs for Malaysia.

Derek Oliver returned to the finals rink and added to his personal medal tally with Gold in the Men’s Fours.

And, finishing with a celebration that will be remembered in bowls circles for a long time, Aaron Wilson won the final bowls Gold medal of the Games in the Men’s Singles with his Dreamline XGs.

More Gold medallists used Henselite bowls than any other brand.

As well as Gold, there were plenty of other Team Henselite medalists including Nathan Rice of Australia who won two silver medals in the Fours and Triples and Colleen Piketh of South Africa who won Bronze in the Singles and Silver in the Pairs,

It was a fantastic week showcasing this great sport to the World. Congratulations to all bowlers and the games organisers. Bring on Birmingham 2022!
