Why do you use this bowl?	The ABT-evo is very comfortable to use, it's got a nice, even turn.
How and when did you begin bowling?	Officially I began in 1996 but unofficially I've been bowling since I was about 3. Mum and Dad both played indoor carpet bowls so I would go outside and have a roll with them on the back lawn.
Career Goals	To be re-selected for New Zealand and win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and the World Championships.
Career Highlights	Winning the World Champion of Champions in 2004 and bronze at the World Championships in 2008.
Achievements	2011 Australian Open Triples Champion 2010 Commonwealth Games, NZ Team Member, Men's Singles 2010 Singles Silver Medal, 8-Nation Test Event, Delhi 2008 World Championship bronze medal 2008 World Cup silver 2008 NSW Premier League winner with Taren Point 2007 Asia Pacific Singles winner 2004 World Champion of Champions winner 2003 and 2004 NZ National Singles winner
What is your key to winning?	My key to winning is enjoyment of the game. If I stay happy, I play well and success comes from that.
What advice do you have for bowlers ambitious to succeed?	Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the green. If you don’t put the time in you won’t get the results out. Bowls is a sport a bit like golf, it requires a lot of hours of practice.
What would you do if you weren't bowling?	I'd have a very ordinary golf career.
