Officially I began in 1996 but unofficially I've been bowling since I was about 3. Mum and Dad both played indoor carpet bowls so I would go outside and have a roll with them on the back lawn.

What is your key to winning?
My key to winning is enjoyment of the game. If I stay happy, I play well and success comes from that.
What advice do you have for bowlers ambitious to succeed?
Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the green. If you don’t put the time in you won’t get the results out. Bowls is a sport a bit like golf, it requires a lot of hours of practice.
