News Team Henselite Australia's Top Young Bowlers Choose Henselite
November 29, 2010

Bowls Australia named its preliminary squad for next year's Junior Trans Tasman Trophy earlier this month. Twelve of the finest young bowlers in the country will attend a training camp at the Lockleys Bowling Club in South Australia where a final side of four - two girls, two boys - will be chosen. After losing the trophy to NZ earlier in 2010, selectors will put these juniors through their paces to assemble the best possible team to bring the title back to Austraila soil.

Eight of the junior players named in the squad use Henselite bowls and competition will be fiece with all of them a chance for a place in the final side. Scott de Jongh (Broadbeach, QLD) and Sean Ingham (McKenzie Park, QLD) are newcomers to the Australian squad and they will join Dylan Fisher (Clayton, VIC) and Aaron Teys (Warilla, NSW) who have previously represented their country in bowls.

In the girls section of the squad. Breeanna Dickson (Payneham, SA) and 2010 Australian U18 Singles Champion Kristina Kristic (Manning, WA) will join seasoned campaigners Carly Griffiths (Pine Rivers, QLD) and Lisa Phillips (Richmond Union, VIC).
