News Team Henselite Silver Debut for Aussie Quinlan
April 12, 2010

Australia's Beth Quinlan made an exciting debut for Australia last week, skipping her triples combination all the way to the final of the 8 Nation Test Event in Delhi. The final was a close fought affair against old rivals England who eventually won out 4-3 in a tie-break, leaving the Aussies to settle for Silver.

The Test Event was a precursor to the Commonwealth Games and gave 8 of the competing bowls nations a chance to test out the Indian conditions before the Games begin in October this year.

Other members of Team Henselite in action over the week included New Zealand men's singles player Ali Forsyth who took out the Silver medal with his compatriot Val Smith winning the Bronze in the women's singles.

2010 Australian Open singles finalist, Graham Shadwell, showed great form in the England triples combination which took Gold. Fellow countryman, Sam Tolchard, stepped in for an unwell Stuart Airey and helped the England men's pairing to a Bronze medal.
