News Team Henselite State Singles Titles for Henselite Ladies in WA and SA
February 1, 2011

There were few surprised in SA and WA last month when the ladies State Singles titles were taken out by the in form players of the season.

Holdfast Bay's Riina Bradbrook (SA) started off the year with a bang when she won her second consecutive State Singles title, beating Kensington Marryatville's Jackie Gardiner in the final 25-16. This marks the sixth singles title for the "Queen Bee" of bowls in 12 months, including the 2010 Metro Singles and Champion of Champions.

Corrigin's Noelene Abe (WA) has had a similarly impressive year, winning the Mt Lawley consistency singles and skipping her state to victory in the Australian Sides Championship. In the State Singles, Noelene threw off a shaky start and came from behind to win the final 25-17 at Mt Lawley Bowls Club.

Both Riina Bradbrook and Noelene Abe use Henselite bowls.
